Item Description

Tour and Tea at the National Cathedral: Tea for Two … Twice! Spend a special afternoon checking out one of DC’s most beautiful landmarks.  Invite a friend to tour Washington National Cathedral, followed by a trip up to the bell tower, the most spectacular 360 degree view of the city and a chance to see the gargoyles up close. The tour provides an in-depth look at the Cathedral's art, architecture, and history or may highlight a particular subject, such as stained glass or Nobel prize winners. When requested, a Bishop's Garden or Olmsted Woods tour may be substituted. Then enjoy Afternoon Tea served in one of the most unique rooms in the city with a scenic view of Washington from the 7th floor Pilgrim Observation Gallery; you'll enjoy traditional scones and delicacies. Finally, treat yourself to your own tea party with a gift basket that includes:

  • Tupelo Honey Spoons
  • Braswell's Orange Apricot Preserve
  • 40 English Breakfast tea bags in a "KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON" tin
  • Shortbread Cookies shaped like Scottie dogs
  • 40 Breakfast tea bags in a London Taxi tin
  • Prima Frutta's Morello Cherry fruit spread
  • 60 Breakfast tea bags from Charbrew
  • Speculaas Caramel Cookies and Labonte Pure and Natural Honey
