Item Special Note

The Story of Stampin’ Up!

In 1988, two sisters dreamed of enjoying meaningful relationships and expressing creativity. Stampin’ Up! was the fulfillment of that dream, providing them with opportunities to meet new people, have fun, and share creative thoughts and projects. Nearly three decades later, thousands of demonstrators around the world are living the dream themselves, using Stampin’ Up! products to create handmade cards, scrapbook pages, craft projects, and home décor.

In March 2016, cofounder Shelli Gardner appointed her daughter, Sara Douglass, to the role of CEO. This seamless leadership transition demonstrated Stampin’ Up!’s solidity, maturity, and the promise of its future. Shelli continues her involvement with the company and plays a vital role as Board Chair.

The company’s mission is simple—to help people enjoy a successful creative experience using its coordinating stamps, signature paper and ink coordination, tools, and a wide range of embellishments—all to make creating and sharing beautiful projects fun and easy.

Stampin’ Up! products are available for purchase through a network of independent sales consultants called Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. You’ll find our more than 45,000 demonstrators in the United States and Puerto Rico, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Austria, the Netherlands, and Japan.

Stampin’ Up! operates two state-of-the-art facilities: an 80,000-square-foot manufacturing plant in Kanab, Utah, and a 300,000-square-foot home office and distribution center in Riverton, Utah. The company also has international offices in Europe, the South Pacific, and Japan.
