Mixed Media Color Story Art by Nueva Upper School Students
- Item Number

- Estimated Value
- 100 USD
Item Description
This gorgeous painting is the result of a semester's worth of work from some of our most artistically talented Upper School students.
Maya Chawla, Julianna Garber, Sydney Gee, Trevor Golob, Ishir Gupta, Natalie Hope, Sadie Kilar, Paige Mountanos, Luke Pemberton, Sophie Philip, Sky Shapero, Eli van der Rijn, and Noah Van Horne considered how color exists and changes based on its proximity to other colors, which involved learning how to activate or potentially dull a tone based on its relationship to other colors. They took turns painting the stripes with a hard edge, changing their color choices along the way to create the forms that come out of the canvas.
The result? A priceless work of art reflecting great thought and creativity.
