Two Tickets to Big Band Dance Party with Jon Faddis & the Purchase Jazz Orchestra, Saturday, April 28, 2018, at 8pm at The Performing Arts Center at Purchase College.
Get ready to swing with the Purchase Jazz Orchestra and special guest artists as we close out the Jazz at The Center series with a night of big band jazz favorites.

This promises to be an unforgettable evening celebrating not only The PAC’s 40th anniversary, but also the 25th anniversary of Jazz Studies at the Conservatory of Music at Purchase College.
Specially-commissioned charts from the Jon Faddis Jazz Orchestra of New York’s library will be given their inaugural PAC performance by the PJO; listen for some classic Glenn Miller and Count Basie charts as well.
Pre-Concert Artist Talk: Join Jon Faddis and PAC Director Seth Soloway for an informal conversation with the artists. 7pm sharp, free with your ticket.

Jazz at The Center events are co-curated by Jon Faddis, Professor and Director of Jazz Performance in the Conservatory of Music at Purchase College, SUNY, and one of the most innovative and inspiring jazz trumpeters of our time. They are one-of-a-kind happenings, festival-style programs that bring together the genre’s greats and rising stars.
