But who is Arlette Tebele?
In her own words...
"Just a girl who was born to dream - minus the sleep.
I strive to constantly create fun, yet edgy art. Each piece is colorful and playful with a witty, spunky spin. I design every piece in order to be examined and then re-examined by the viewer, while allowing the audience to see a special newness within the piece every time they interact with my art.
Being born in Brooklyn, New York has exposed me to street art from some of the most talented individuals. Drawing inspirtation from art off the street, I combine my love for cartoons and childhood nostolgia into my vision.
Positive and upbeat are themes that radiate through all my art, as well as my life- ranging from my favorite cartoon characters, to dreamy figures kissing in the rain.
Who knows? Maybe if I dream hard enough, they might become a reality."
