Item Description
Written by The Actors' Gang Ensemble and Tim Robbins
This “festival” production embodies 10 raw short plays that explore different challenges people encounter throughout life and in the afterlife. Habit, compulsion, anger, trauma, acceptance, chance, liberty, special powers, nature and the unnatural are some of the concepts explored in "Angels, Devils and Other Things."
“Angels, Devils and Other Things is an evening of under 10 minute plays, written and directed by our talented ensemble of actors. Throughout the Actors’ Gang history, we have always encouraged the expansion of our ensemble’s talent into other disciplines and hopefully, this production will result in the emergence of a new generation of playwrights and directors at the Gang.” – Artistic director, Tim Robbins
The Actors' Gang provides a thrilling and artistic experience in a place where art is usually described as industry. Here dedicated actors strive to hone their craft and offer authentic theater with a purity that is rare and enriching, as well as being fun and entertaining... I urge everyone to make it a point to get to an Actors Gang production and make sure we continue to support this artistic gem! - Michael Sewell, Facebook
This is my favorite theater in Los Angeles. It gives LA great art and community, and is the most soulful place to be! The actors are incredible!!!!! - Diane L., Facebook
Hats and masks off to The Actors Gang! I love the space, the vibes and the heart in this theater. The joy of the openhearted really shines thru. Thank you for being here and giving such great gifts to this community. - Becky B., Facebook
