Item Description
Admit up to Five (5) Kids or Adults!
The Bay Area Discovery Museum (BADM) is an innovative, multifaceted children’s museum that is transforming the way children learn and contribute to an increasingly complex world.
At BADM, we believe that children are capable of asking and answering powerful questions like: “What would happen if…?” or “How might we make this better?”
BADM prepares children (6 months – 10 years) to tackle these questions by providing child-directed, research-backed, STEM based early learning experiences that develop creative problem-solving, a fundamental skill best learned in early childhood when brain development is at its peak.
Located at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge on 7.5 acres of National Park land, BADM’s programs and experiences reflect current research and best practices in creative problem-solving and early childhood education.
BADM’s research and advisory division, the Center for Childhood Creativity (CCC), provides the research backing for all museum experiences. Further, BADM aims to raise awareness about the importance of creative problem-solving in early learning experiences, and we support the broader community by providing resources for educators and families.
Our mission is to transform research into early learning experiences that inspire creative problem solving.
