Item Description
Do you have an interest in the electric or upright bass, guitar, piano or drums? Are you in search of an instructor? We know an accomplished local musician who is ready to teach you! This certificate is for a new student to join Jason Fraticelli on any of those instruments for four, 30-minute lessons.
Jason is a former Playschool dad, professional upright bassist, composer and multi-instrumentalist and all-around great guy! Be sure to visit Jason's page to see and to hear how he uses his talents in the Philadelphia and New York areas.
A little background on Jason:
At the age of 13 he played one of his first shows, on drums, opening for reggae artist Jimmy Cliff in Philadelphia with his dad and his uncle in a group called Elysium. It was that experience that gave Jason "the bug" for musical performance that was to shape a long and ongoing career. Jason pursued his love for jazz at the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City. It was there that he was able to learn from teachers such as Reggie Workman (futuristic concepts), Cecil McBee (bass proficiency), Jane Ira Bloom (ensemble studies), and George Garzone (improvisation). As an upright bassist, Jason has had the experience of playing with many different musicians, such as Skerik (Les Claypool) and Billy Martin (MMW), performing and touring in groups, such as The Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey, Melody Gardot, and Cyro Baptista's Banquet of the Spirits, and recording with several different bands in the Philadelphia and New York area.
Item Special Note
This must be for a new student. Student must be age 5+ and have his or her own instrument. Jason needs two weeks notice to schedule. One lesson per week.

Winners will be notified when they can pick up items from Charlestown Playhouse.
At winner’s request, items that fit into a standard envelope will be mailed at no extra charge. Shipping for anything larger is NOT included in the winning bid amount. You will be contacted for payment and shipping information for those items.
