Item Description
This print started its life at the 65th Anniversary of the Battle of Iwo Jima held at the National Museum of the Marine Corps in 2010. Autographs were obtained from many of the attending veterans to include "Medal of Honor recipient Herschel "Woody" Williams. From there the print traveled onto Modern Day Marine where signatures of retired and active duty Commandants, General Officers and Sgt Majors of the Marine Corp were added. The final stop was right here aboard Camp Pendleton where 5 additional signatures were obtained from the current 5 Commanding Generals aboard the base. LtGen L. Craparotta, MajGen E. Smith, BGen K. Killea, BGen R. Uribe and BGen S. Sklenka.
This print was framed into a high end bonded leather frame. We selected acid-free backing, acid-free matting and mounting. UV protective and anti-glare glass was used to preserve this one of a kind piece!
Also includes a packet of Iwo Jima Sand mounted to the back.
Dimensions are 33" x 38 1/4"
