Item Description
The 7th Grade Presents the Best of the West: a curated “heavy case” (14 bottles instead of the usual 12) featuring fantastic wines from top growing regions in Washington, Oregon, and California.
Starting in California, from Napa, enjoy Nickel & Nickel’s Truchard Vineyard Chardonnay, Stag’s Leap’s Investor red blend, and Dominus’ “Napanook” Bordeaux Blend. Out of Santa Barbara County comes the Belle Glos Clark & Telephone Vineyard Pinot Noir. Next, moving North, Oregon’s Willamette Valley offers the lovely Anne Amie Pinot Gris and Domaine Drouhin’s flagship wine, the Pinot Noir Laurène.
Finally, Washington’s bounty provides a bevy of bottles from producers whose names are easily recognized by Washington wine lovers. From the Columbia Valley, you’ll enjoy the Apex Chardonnary, Delille Cellars Chaleur Blanc, and Mark Ryan “The Dissident” red blend. Out of Red Mountain there’s the Janiuk Klipsun Vineyard Merlotl. From the Rocks District AVA, a very small, fairly new AVA in the Walla Walla Valley, you’ll taste the Boudreaux Cellars Rocks District Cabernet Sauvignon. And last, but certainly not least, the Betz La Serenne Syrah hails from the Bouchey Vineyard in the Yakima Valley.
Since some rules are meant to be broken, we have departed from the West Coast theme to round out this heavy case with two special treats: Krug Champagne and Jackson Triggs Vidal Icewine. With this case in your cellar, you’ll be ready to entertain and impress, or just treat yourself, no matter what the occasion.
