Look Closer At Art - Parent Workshop
This educational workshop gives parents a fun way to explore art with other adults whilst picking up the tools to be a guide for your children. We’ll start off with some easy ways to look at art and games to help find out what kind of art you love (with a fun journaling game). You pick out your favorite piece of art, and then we’ll give you ways to analyze it and chat about it together.
What happens: The workshop can last from 1-2 hours depending on how chatty everyone is. We bring all the kit and materials. It works best as an evening event, hosted in someone’s home ...with wine. Our well-honed games and discussion techniques allow us to sit around and look at and talk about art! We like to think of it as a book club - that you don’t need to read the book for! We have found that something magical happens when you look at art - everyone shares ideas and stories about all manner of topics and it’s a real community builder.

Size: 6-12 guests works best
Length: The workshop runs for 1- 2 hours with lots of games and info.
