The mission of the Greater Boston Stage Company is to bring vibrant professional theatre and dramatic education beyond the boundaries of Boston, featuring world and regional premieres alongside fresh interpretations of familiar work. Within this setting, we uniquely foster the artists of tomorrow by providing ongoing performance and employment opportunities to our company of current and former students.
We produce 6-7 shows each year as part of our Mainstage series at Greater Boston Stage Company. As a professional not-for-profit regional theatre we work with the highest caliber of professional actors, directors and designers to create the highest quality theatre possible.
Each person we welcome through our doors brings to the theatre different expectations, and each person leaves with a different experience. It's our goal that every time you visit Greater Boston Stage Company, you'll leave having been entertained, engaged, and a little bit surprised.âÂÂ
