Item Description
This auction is for a two-inch wooden photo ornament featuring an elephant rescued from Wildlife SOS. Each ornament is handmade with care and love. The top of the ornament includes the name of the elephant and the date of rescue. This one features Peanut who was rescued in 2015. This ornament is perfect for Wildlife SOS supporters, elephant lovers, or wildlife enthusiasts in general.
This is a handmade item and weighs just under 4 oz. Materials used: eye hook, sheer ribbon, photo paper, wooden cube.
Peanut: In April 2015, six-year-old Peanut became the youngest elephant ever rescued by Wildlife SOS. Peanut was part of a group of four young circus elephants. When not being made to perform demeaning and dangerous tricks, they were tightly restrained by all four legs, standing for days on end in their own filth and grime, with limited access to food and drinking water. Now, at Wildlife SOS Peanut is one of the most playful (and most mischievous) elephants at the sanctuary!
