Would you like to learn the basics of Facebook advertising? Maybe you have a small business and want to target people in the neighborhood? Or you have an event you'd like to promote?
Facebook's Advertising platform can help you connect with your target audience on Instagram, Facebook, and Messenger with a small budget. We'll spend an hour and a half setting up your account, connecting it to a Facebook page, and learning how to select an audience and budget. You'll also learn how to optimize your ad by looking at metrics and using online graphic design tools. If you are interested in advertising on Twitter or Pinterest, we can review those platforms as well.
As a digital product manager, Cindy Day has set up ad campaigns for both small and large organizations. She also has experience creating chatbots, developing mobile apps, doing web site redesigns, and generally creating fun new tech products for media companies (like the NYT and Condé Nast) and nonprofits. She is the Senior Director of Product Management at ParentsTogether, a nonprofit start-up.
