Item Description
"Our country has a romantic love affair with the car and what it symbolizes. The open road. Freedom. Independence. This all comes with great impacts; fiscal, political and environmental. These works are meant to evoke a thoughtful discussion on how the auto has changed both our landscape and the ways we perceive it.
Once a vehicle to 'See the USA….', the car is now viewed with negative connotation.
The prints are from one of my assemblage pieces - it captures my interest in automobile culture in our country."
