Item Description
World renown artist Pamela Alderman resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan. A budding artist began to emerge with art classes at the age of 5. Now she is not only an artist in paint but also facilitator that creates a new kind of art/citizen work that invites audience collaboration. The work (art therapy) let's others speak and respond. She creates healing installations.
This installation was made using wood that went through a chipper. It represents our men and women returning home fractured, damaged, war weary with signs of PTSD just trying to become whole again.
