Carmina Burana
Set to Carl Orff’s famous score, accompanied by the 100-plus voice chorus of the Pacific Coast Chorale and The City Ballet Orchestra conducted by John Nettles, City Ballet offers you an exciting world premiere. Geoff Gonzalez, Resident Choreographer, following the rousing success of last season’s Vivaldi’s Four Seasons creates a new ballet that will capture the many moods and atmosphere of this brilliant score. This production will be a sensory delight on a large scale!
Mozart’s Concerto for Flute and Harp
Mozart’s lively, but ethereal score inspired Elizabeth Wistrich to create a neo-classical ballet showcase, showing the beautiful classical skills of City Ballet’s dancers, laced with exciting virtuoso passages and a light, airy feeling. This ballet will charm and entertain you.
