Marean Art Center Ticketed, Location (Included in St Pete Arts Experience Ticket)
The Chihuly Collection is open between 10am-5pm, Mon-Sat and 12pm-5pm on Sundays. The Collection is located at 720 Central Ave. St Petersburg, FL 33701. Docent-led tours are included in the price of admission and you are welcome to join in please call ahead to 727-822-7872 for the current tour schedule. There is also an extensive gift-shop to peruse. We recommend spending 1 hour at the Chihuly Collection. Street parking is available, free of charge, for 2-3 hours.
The Glass Studio & Hot Shop performs professional glass-blowing demonstrations seven days a week, every hour on the hour with the first at 11am and the final demo at 4pm. The Hot Shop is located directly behind the main Morean Arts Center building at 719 Central Ave. Demonstrations run for roughly 30 minutes. There is a gift shop in the Hot Shop as well, filled with local and reglonally made glass art.
Morean Arts Center Non-Ticketed (Free of Charge) Locations
The Morean Arts Center Galleries are free of charge to visitors. The galleries host curated bi-monthly contemporary art exhibitions as well as a gift store filled with local and nationally-made artworks. The Galleries are located at 719 Central Ave and are open from 9am·5pm. Street parking is available, free of charge, for 2·3 hours.
The facilities of the Morean Center for Clay at 420 22nd St S are open to visitors Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-5pm. Home to a ceramic artists-in-residence program and host to workshops featuring nationally-lauded ceramicists, it is the largest working pottery in the SE United States. Located within a converted, historic train station building, the Center for Clay houses a stunning event-rental space, working ceramics studios, classrooms, and an art gallery featuring rotating exhibitions of contemporary clay works. There is a parking area through the gate, just north of 5th Avenue South.
