The NYC Indie Film Festival provides a showcase for the best in independent cinema, including short films, feature films, music videos, and animated works. With panels, parties and a week-long gathering of fellow indie filmmakers, the 9th Annual New York City Independent Film Festival is the place to be May 7 - 13, 2018. The festival strives to promote an open and nurturing environment for artists, writers, actors, film-makers and fans. We will be screening the best indie films and offering panels, classes, seminars and discussion groups as well as opportunities for the filmmakers and fans to mingle and network.
The NYC Indie film Fest is eager to embrace fresh ideas and storytelling. We will be screening narratives, documentaries, short films, super shorts, animations and music videos. We are looking for filmmakers whose passion for the art form is real as they push films in new directions.
The VIP Full Festival pass guarantees entry into ALL Festival events including film screenings and industry panels. This year the Festival will screen 300 films and with the VIP pass you can watch them all! Aspiring filmmakers, come learn from industry professionals in one, or all!, of our many panels.
The VIP Passes are your personal invitation to the exclusive Opening Party, Awards Ceremony, and Closing Party. Open to invited filmmakers, press, partners, and staff - you will have the opportunity to be the first in the public to celebrate and rub-shoulders with the invited filmmakers of the 2017 official selections as well as meet the Festival staff, who brings the week-long event to NYC each year!
For the first year, the Festival will be presenting an innovative installation of art/experimental films as well as a day-long Virtual Reality experience - secure your entry to both events with your VIP Full Festival Pass.
To ensure that you get a seat in all films you wish to attend, you will be contacted once the official schedule has been announced to reserve seating in the film sessions of your choice.
