Two tickets to a Huntington Theatre Company Fall 2018 production of either The Niceties, Sherlock’s Last Case, or Man in the Ring.
The Niceties is written by Eleanor Burgess and Directed by Kimberly Senior, scheduled for September 5 to October 7, 2018, and will be performed in the South End at the Calderwood Pavilion. The Niceties is an explosive new play from Boston native and Huntington Playwriting Fellow Eleanor Burgess that everyone will be talking about.
Sherlock's Last Case, written by Charles Marowitz and directed by Maria Aitken, will be performed at The Huntington Avenue Theatre September 28 to October 28, 2018. The game’s afoot with equal parts hilarity and intrigue in this comedy-thriller, directed by Huntington favorite Maria Aitken (Alfred Hitchcock’s The 39 Steps, Bedroom Farce).
The Chicago Tribune calls Man in the Ring, "An exceptionally artful piece of theatre. This is not a show to miss!” Written by Michael Cristofer and directed by Michael Greif, Man in the Ring will be performed November 16 to December 16, 2018, in the South End at the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA. Man in the Ring is the incredible true story of six-time world champion boxer Emile Griffith and the fatal fight he could never forget. This sweeping tale covers Emile’s humble beginnings in the Virgin Islands, his passionate love affairs, and the infamous, lifechanging Madison Square Garden match against his archrival.
