We saw Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream last night and it was absolutely FANTASTIC! The acting, choreography and production were all first rate! The setting is perfect as well, beautiful surroundings, picnic area outside and a lovely theater!!! - Josh F., YELP
Just beautiful... Oak trees and bird songs surround the show. My boyfriend and I have gone the last 3 years in a row to see Dream, and it remains one of the highlights of our summers. You can bring food (including wine) to picnic beforehand, lots of cute little alcoves with benches and tables among the trees. If you do, get there about an hour or so before the show so you have enough time to eat, put the cooler back in the car, and get in line before doors open. Free parking on the road, but it's popular. Give yourself enough time to enjoy this little gem and you'll feel like you've escaped reality for the afternoon. This is classic theater- no microphones or fancy effects, actors of all ages, a community coming together to celebrate the arts. - Jenny Y., YELP
The play was great! The acting was great (there were even a couple dogs in the show! Too cute!) and I just really enjoyed the whole story. It was really funny! The ambiance is beautiful. It's a great date spot or just a fun outing! I wish more theaters were outdoor and it certainly is something fun to check out. Go and support something local and lovely! - Sam L., YELP
