Naming rights to a trail at Kaweah Oaks Preserve for one year
- Item Number

Item Description
Kaweah Oaks Preserve is SRT's flagship nature site, open to the public every day from sunrise to sunset. It's many trails attract thousands of hikers, birdwatchers, students and dogs a year, for a chance to connect with the natural world just minutes from town.
Most of the trails at KOP bear the name of a native species - such as the Sycamore Trail, Elderberry Trail, and Grapevine Trail. Two also bear the name of the loved one of a special donor. We normally give naming rights to a trail for $25,000 for this auction, we're putting a one-year naming right for the Elderberry Trail up for bid.
How much is it worth it to you to name one of these trails after a beloved parent, spouse, or dog? Or maybe you are your own beloved, and want to name it for yourself! Go for it! The name will last but a year, but the memories will last a lifetime.
The Elderberry Trail is one of the newest at Kaweah Oaks, and a real beauty, leading down to running water and a great spot to spread out and have a picnic. And come summer, it will be the major area that supplies berries for the Elderberry Trail Ale we produce with Sequoia Brewing Co. Yum!
