Item Description
Chris Kennedy-Bubany is a native of the Southwest, born and raised in New Mexico. She has lived in Tucson, Arizona for over 30 years and is the proud mom of 2 grown sons, Dan and Brent. Chris grew up in a large family surrounded by beautiful art made by the Zunis, Hopis and Navajos. Her parents were in the Indian Arts & Crafts business and her grandparents were traders in the early 1900's.
Chris's early love of art developed from making lots of cards and drawings for family and friends growing up. Coloring was a favorite activity - and you know the saying about, "Doing as an adult that which you loved as a child!" She holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Arizona, and entered the exciting world of ceramics in 1994 when she built a new house with husband George, designing tiles for their kitchen & bath.
This handpainted ceramic bowl measures 7" across and features a coyote design.
