Item Description

Two Wigle Whiskey Distillery or Barrelhouse Tour and Tasting Vouchers

Each voucher is good for one Wigle Whiskey Distillery or Barrelhouse Tour and Tasting.

Tour Pittsburgh's very own Wigle Whiskey (pronounced "wiggle"), an artisan small batch whiskey distillery founded in 2012.

- James Beard Semi-Finalist

- Most Awarded craft distillery in the U.S. by the American Craft Spirits Association

Vouchers good for either location:

  • The Distillery & Tasting Room 2401 Smallman St., Pittsburgh, PA 15222
    • Join us on Saturdays (and now select Fridays!) for a tour to get a taste of the good stuff we've distilled! We'll walk you through how we start with organic, local grain to produce a portfolio of award-winning, full-flavored Whiskeys, Gins, Rums, and Vodka. Throughout the tour, we'll regale you with the true tale of the Pittsburgh's Whiskey Rebellion, one of the country's quirkiest and pivotal events.

The tour includes a cocktail to start, a hands-on tour of our distillation process, a history of the Whiskey Rebellion told through the eyes of our namesake, Philip Wigle, and a seated tasting of straight spirits. The total length of the tour is 1 hour and is limited in size to ensure a fun experience for everyone.

  • The Barrelhouse & Whiskey Garden (Seasonal) 1055 Spring Garden Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15212
    • The tour starts off with a barrel aged cocktail in our Whiskey Garden and ends with tastings of five straight spirits, including limited edition and experimental batches. You'll also get a sneak peek of the products in our innovation pipeline.

The tour will transport you back to the 1800s to hear the history of how Pittsburgh’s Rye Whiskey grew into a national phenomenon and fueled both the businesses of the wealthiest men in the world--Frick, Carnegie and Mellon--and the steel industry in Pittsburgh.

You’ll also get a deep dive into the science and art of barrel aging--learning about how wood variety, barrel size, and aging conditions affect spirits.
