Déjà Vu: Catalog Raisonne of Arthur Secunda’s Graphic Works, 1948-2013 is a comprehensive, annotated listing of the artist’s prints bound in a splendid hardcover coffee-table book with over 400 beautiful pages. This 65-year chronology describes Arthur’s 340 limited-edition signed prints and reveals his artistic evolution from basic multi-lithographic techniques to sophisticated methods and processes. Each full-color print is reproduced on its own 11 x 11-inch page; with a detailed description of how, when, and where each was done.
From the Beginning: The Torah and Old Testament Monotypes of Arthur Secunda.
Brief Book Summary: Between 1993 and 2007, Arthur Secunda, an internationally renowned artist, created approximately 140 monotypes illustrating verses of the Torah and Old Testament. Monotypes are original paintings created on a non-absorbent surface which subsequently are transferred to paper in a printing/pressing process. Over 130 of these monotypes have been acquired by the Arthur Secunda Museum at Cleary University, Howell, MI. This is a full-color catalog of the Secunda Biblical narrative monotypes in the Museum collection. This artwork and book were created in a collaborative effort by a Jew, a Christian, and a Muslim.
