Item Description
You and a guest will join John Horn, host of KPCC’s daily arts and entertainment program The Frame, at the LA home of KPCC News Anchor Hettie Lynne Hurtes for an intimate dinner party. Hettie will prepare a delicious homecooked vegan dinner, and will serve exceptional wine generously donated by Silver Lake Wines.*
John Horn has been covering arts & entertainment in Southern California for nearly 30 years. He was a lead writer on the film industry at the LA Times for more than a decade, taking readers behind the scenes to examine the creative process and explain how Hollywood works. Prior to the LA Times, John was a senior writer at Newsweek magazine.
He traveled with director Steve McQueen to the former plantation where 12 Years a Slave was filmed in 2013, and more recently watched Angelina Jolie take on her first major studio directing job on Unbroken, the story of Olympian Louis Zamperini.
This promises to be an unforgettable evening with great wine and food, fascinating conversation and lots of laughter! John's and Hettie's spouses will be there as well.
