Item Description
Join our 3rd grade teacher, Mr. Savant, in exploring the world at Mission Science Workshop. This visit is for no more than 4 students (1st to 5th grade) on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 10 am to 2 pm. Pick-up/transportation to be worked out with Mr. Savant. Pizza lunch included.
Mission Science Workshop is a “down and gritty” mix of the Randall Museum and the Exploratorium with lots of hands-on science exhibits and animals for children to explore. Mr. Savant has visited MSW with school groups for about 15 years.
Item Special Note
Mr. Savant will be chaperoning the students in their exploration of MSW, then providing lunch (maybe picnic in MSW gardens or at Dolores Park). If parents and children can meet Mr. Savant at MSW, Mr. Savant can accomodate more students and parents. MSW is located in the old automotive shop at Mission High School, the corner of Church and 18th St.
