Item Description
What could be cooler than a LEGO Robotics party with OFS High School's very own teacher and OFS dad, Mike Bauer!
Using laptops and LEGO Mindstorms robots, children will be able to find out how a robot really works. The programming itself is based on LEGO's easy to understand EV3 computer program, whereby the kids intuitively use the simple 'drag and drop' icons to form their code.
Working in pairs, children are guided step by step on how to program their robot to perform precise movements as well as how to operate environmental sensors such as light and sound. 7 computers and 7 robots are brought to the party. This can accommodate 7 students working individually, or 14 students if working in pairs.
The robotics party is built around a series of challenges, dependent on ability and interest.â Good for children ages 7-14.
Item Special Note
The party can be hosted at your location or can be held at Oneness Family School. Dates and times will need to be discussed with the instructor.
