• Tres Sabores, 2012 Por Que No?, Napa Valley Wine Enthusiast gives this a 91 - The 13th vintage of this most winsome blend is more than just the ‘best of the rest of the cellar’ of estate wine. They also sourced fruit from special vineyards in Rutherford and Calistoga to give you even more of an excuse to try it. And really… ¿Por qué No?!! It’s everyone’s favorite party, mole, flatbread, Bar-B-Que, & Bistro wine thanks to the spirited joy it brings to the palate. The somewhat unconventional blend lends it an exotic charm: Just over half Zinfandel, about 1/3 Petite Sirah, a strong contribution of Cabernet Sauvignon & a dollop of Petit Verdot.                    “¿Why not?” try it?
• Elyse Winery, 2013 Morsoli Vineyard, Rutherford, Napa Valley Morisoli Vineyard The vineyard is located between Niebaum and Manley Lanes, at the base of Mt. Saint John and in the heart of the Rutherford Bench. This area has a worldwide reputation for growing great Cabernet Sauvignon. The light, dusty, gravely soil here produces grapes with vibrant flavor and impeccable balance. The resulting wines express equal parts power and finesse. An Elyse wine from this vineyard will have great longevity but is also very drinkable when released. Each year, since 1986, we produce a Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel from this very special place in Napa Valley
