Marion Villeneuve’s paintings often waver between a realistic and an abstract world defined by horizontality and verticality, light and shadow, representation and perception. In her exhibition “New York City”, the artist presents recent canvases of urban landscapes.
Marion Villeneuve Gintzburger is a graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et des Métiers d’Arts, Paris, and she also holds a degree in Visual Arts from Université Paris-8. She worked at the Centre Pompidou Museum in Paris for over a decade. Her current home is in Brooklyn, New York.
