Item Description
Stability: This stunning piece beautifully captures a family's loving embrace and the stability that come with knowing you're loved and protected. The piece measures 10"x 3.5" x 4" and is handcrafted by famed sculptor Nnamdi Okonkwo. Nnamdi was born in Eastern Nigeria. He has always been drawn to art, particularly three-dimensional sculpture. After obtaining a Degree in painting in Nigeria, basketball became the avenue for Nnamdi to emigrate to the United States, playing for BYU-Hawaii and graduating with a BFA in Sculpture. He followed with a MFA in sculpture from BYU-Provo. He now works full-time out of his studio in Fayetteville, Georgia. His work is represented in galleries across the country, and his large-scale monumental work can be seen in individual and public sculpture gardens as well.
