Item Description

Oxbow's own Mary Bourke and her husband Anthony are vintners in their spare time. Starting with only the finest Russian River fruit, they began making wine in very small quantities in their garage in Marin in 2003. Now produced at Freeman Winery in Sebastopol, Hale Mary's wines sell out year after year and are only available directly to consumer via mailing list and in favorite Bay Area restaurants (including Gary Danko, Jardiniere, Spruce, and Piperade) and beyond.

Bring an excellent Pinot Noir to your table with a magnum of the 2014 Russian River Pinot Noir. A return to the silky elegance of 2012 with balanced dark cherry fruit up front, wonderful mid-palate weight and sweetness, and good acid on the finish; slightly less spicy than the 2013 vintage. The wine is drinking beautifully now and will age gracefully for another 5-10 years.

You'll also receive a bottle of their 2016 Russian River Chardonnay. Just released in March, this vintage is a balanced, medium bodied wine that pairs beautifully with fish, poultry, and summer appetizers. Last year's vintage sold out due to popular demand, so bid now to ensure you get this wine for your collection.
