Item Description

Located in Sebastopol, Freeman Vineyard & Winery is regarded as one of the leading producers of handcrafted Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast vineyards. Their wines are known for their more restrained and elegant style, as you'll find with your magnum of 2012 Freeman Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. The 2012 Freeman Russian River Valley Pinot Noir has a deep ruby color, and the nose is a combination of ripe black cherries, rhubarb and toasty oak. The mouthfeel and flavors are similar to how Pinot was made in the early '90s in the Russian River. There's a long finish where acidity and tannin come into play, but the dark fruits last a long time as well. Expect this wine to get even better through 2023.

After enjoying your magnum, make a reservation for a special tasting for 4 people at the Wine Cave at the Freeman Vineyard and Winery. This in-depth private tasting tour in their beautiful cave will reveal why Freeman remains one of the great pioneers of cool-climate Pinot Noir.

Item Special Note

Advance reservation required for tasting. Expires 5/12/19.
