Item Description

Enjoy a two-night stay for up to 6 guests at one of the original sought after homes of Old Inverness in First Valley, coupled with dinner for two at the acclaimed SALTWATER Restaurant!

The Main House in Inverness has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath; the upstairs has two queen beds, while the downstairs has one California King bed, large living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom with claw foot tub and attached semi-enclosed concrete outdoor shower that you enter through bathroom. Gourmet updated kitchen! The home was previously owned by the MANKAS proprietor. There is also a detached studio on the property with two twin beds, a bathroom, and a second private outdoor shower. A large, fenced-in, grassy, private, and sunny backyard has an in-ground fire pit, BBQ, hammock, Adirondack chairs, picnic table, ping pong table, and deck, and is surrounded by private open space and old fruit trees. Two bikes and two kayaks are available for use. Ideal for a romantic getaway or family vacation, the home is located within a block of downtown Inverness village center, market, superb restaurants, Tomales Bay and Point Reyes beaches and hiking trails.

Saltwater Oyster Depot is a neighborhood oyster bar and restaurant that is rooted in its respect for sustainably managed farmlands, shellfish producing water bottoms and folks that are engaged in the thoughtful gathering of food. At your dinner for two, partake in regional wines from an extensive bottle list as well on tap, direct from the winemaker to you. Saltwater staff shuck oysters moments after they have left the bay and welcome local fishermen to bring their catch to the kitchen door, where they aspire to prepare these foods simply, to embrace the beauty of hospitality and extend graceful service.
