Choose between a stay in a private home in downtown Oslo or beautiful summer house situated along the Oslo fjord for up to a week!

The home in downtown Oslo is on the second floor in an old renovated apartment building from 1895 with a total of 10 apartments overlooking a small park. There are three small shops on the ground floor. The backyard is shared by the all the apartments and includes a lawn with very nice, safe play ground for children.

Three bedrooms face the backyard. One of them has a balcony with early evening sun. The kitchen has all the basics including a dinner table and the small living room has a fire place, with bothrooms facing the park. The third room also faces the park and has a small balcony the captures the beauty of the morning sun and can be used as a bedroom (sleeper sofa). The apartment is about 1200 sq.ft, has one bathroom and there's no elevator but, you'll have the place to yourselves as you enjoy your stay in this beautiful capital city.

The apartment is in the middle of Grunerlokka neighbourhood, located east of Oslo city center. Grunerlokka is home to many small cafes, restaurants and shops. Downtown Oslo is within walking distance and all the sights are within reach and easily accessed by tram or bus. There are also a number of parks and recreational areas in the immediate proximity of the apartment, as well as the Aker river with its waterfalls. Grunerlokka is called "Oslo's Greenwich Village" and “has undergone a transformation from rundown industrial district to a vibrant, artsy neighbourhood which could give cool Copenhagen or style-savvy Stockholm a run for their money”!

If city life is not your thing - no worries! Winner may choose stay at beautiful summer house instead of downtown Oslo. The summerhouse is an hour drive from downtown Oslo, so you will need a car. It has nice views overlooking the Oslo fjord.
