One of our long time supporters is a train collector and has donated a number of new Lionel trains in their original boxes for our auction.  This item is the #F3 A-A 2333 New York Central Lionel Century Club.  BRAND NEW IN THE BOX

As 1930's railroading began it's inevitable transition from steam power to diesel, the mightiest and most successful player in the new age was Electro-Motive's F3. It's fabulous styling, created at the end of the 1930's as the FT, captured the look and feel of period design philosophies like art deco and moderne. Plus, the smooth, flowing lines lent themselves perfectly to the creation of stunning paint schemes. The Lionel F3 debuted in 1948 and amazed railroaders everywhere. The look, the feel, and the power of these rugged diesels were unmatched in electric trains. The Lionel 2333 New York Central F3 A-A delivers the same impact.

This offering also includes the additional add-on B-unit that makes this a complete ABA Lionel Century Club set. Lionel Century Club models were produced in limited quantities and only available for sale to Lionel Century Club Members who had to pay a membership fee just to be eligible to purchase one of these fine models which were Made in America. This has already become a collectors item and is in high demand by collectors who want the very best that Lionel made.

If the actual box is not sealed or the trains wrapped in their original plastic, photos can be sent of trains inside the boxes upon request.
