Item Description

This unique Professor Pen combines both modern and rustic elements. Its form is relatively simple, without much ornamentation, but is made unique by the cross-hatched detailing at both ends. The rustic antique silver finish of the hardware is juxtaposed with the modern Arctic Swirl acrylic body. The background consists of variegated shades of white that shimmer and shift in the light. Within this reflective base are contrasting but delicate swirling lines of steel blue and white. It's quite spectacular and not fully captured in the picture. It measures just under 5 inches, takes Parker style refills and comes in a velveteen drawstring pouch. Why not treat yourself or a special someone to a hand crafted gift that is personalized to your style? Only problem? You might not get much done as you keep gazing, mesmerized by the beauty of this one!

John Baker started making pens on the lathe in 2017 to help him recover from a bone marrow transplant. Doing so in support of WSOS provided inspiration, motivation on the tough days and, most importantly, a sense of accomplishment, of 'giving back' in some small way. This is the second auction he's contributing to and he hopes to continue for many years.
