$750.00 value

A haven for coldwater species like trout, the Smokies offers approximately 1,000 miles of wild trout streams. These beautiful streams provide wade fishing for colorful fish on a grand scale. Wild brown trout, rainbow trout and the native Appalachian brook trout can all be found among the rivers and streams in the Smokies.

Many anglers rate the Smokies as their favorite place to cast a fly. The Smokies are one of the last large wild trout fisheries in the eastern USA. A day of fishing the mountain streams is more physical than some anglers expect. We’ll take you to water that best suits your capabilities. We will guide along roadside streams or we can hike in to one of many locations if it suits you.

East Tennessee has some of the best trout water anywhere in the country. From our base in Townsend, we have quick access to the streams of the Smoky Mountains as well as large tailwater rivers to float. We offer guided wade fishing in the streams and float trips on the tailwaters.

We limit ourselves to a maximum of two anglers per guide so each angler receives a maximum of attention.
Our Smoky Mountain trips are about eight hours long. The full day allows us more choices. We can explore more water on the East and Middle Prongs of Little River where rainbows and brown trout are common. Hike-in fishing can be done on a variety of streams including the East Prong of Little River above Elkmont as well as the Middle Prong and areas above Tremont. Native brookies are a possibility if we head for Lynn Camp Prong, the Middle Prong of the Pigeon or the upper reaches of the West Prong of the Little Pigeon River and Road Prong. So many choices!

We’ll provide the flies, drinks, and lunch. We also keep extra rods and reels on hand if you need a set up.
