The winner of this package will work with architect, Malaika Kim and interior designer, Kathleen Walsh (both SSCA parents) to make your home dreams come true! Tap into deep ideas of home, envision how a space can feel and function, so you can relax!
The Architectural Consultation includes:
- An initial 30-45 minute meeting at your place to discuss your architectural dreams.
- A napkin sketch plan.
- A design solution based on the meeting and tailored to your dreams and what is feasible.
- A roadmap for how to make your dreams happen.
- While the design and ideas are not intended to be used to obtain a permit, discussion of ‘if and what’ permits would be needed.
Malaika Kim is a seasoned licensed New York architect, specializing in high end residential work in Brooklyn, Manhattan and the Hamptons. In addition to working closely with families in the city and beyond, she has worked with all budgets having designed and built small commercial work as well as pre-schools and university environments. She is a member of the AIA, American Institute of Architects and is a US Green Building Council LEED Certified Assoc. Professional.
The Interior Design Consultation includes:
- An initial meeting to discuss your design dreams.
- A customized inspiration board.
- Up to 2 furniture plan options for the room of your choice.
- A shopping list with measurements of all the needed items.
- A go-to list of shopping sources tailored to your aesthetic and your budget.
- A new paint color option if needed.
Kathleen Walsh has over 25 years of residential interior design experience in the metro NYC area, New England and internationally. Her firm’s work has been published in various publications including Architectural Digest, Westchester Home, NE Home,Vogue and Lonny. Travel fees apply outside of Brooklyn/Manhattan.
