Item Description
You and five guests can enjoy an exclusive tasting at the Durant & Booth Tasting Salon in Oakville. Art and antique curios adorn every wall, hallway, nook and cranny at Durant & Booth. Sip on wines as you experience this showcase for not only beautiful design and singular wines but for the artists whose work they support.
In addition to your tasting for 6, enjoy a mixed case from Durant & Booth. Six bottles of 2014 Blanc have aromas of white peach, cantaloupe melon, honeysuckle and crushed wet rocks. Besides the fruit character of this wine, there is also a lovely minerality. The palate is extremely approachable where the acidity, the nicely integrated French oak and the alcohol find a perfect balance. The next six bottles of 2012 Red Reserve are bright berry red with tints of purple. The nose is rich with aromas of ripe strawberries and figs, blueberries, dark chocolate, mocha and toasted French oak. The presence in this wine is astonishing with a burst of power and ripe red fruits coming after 5-10 seconds. The length on the palate is never-ending showing the amazing aging potential of this Bordeaux-style gem.
