Hands On Hoops  is offering 1 group lesson for 5 kids.

Watch your kid develop new skills by having fun playing basketball. Basketball Lessons that help kids gain a life-long edge. Hands On Hoops, where boys and girls between ages 2 and 15 can grow and develop new skills. 

Hands On Hoops basketball coaches understand that kids, after learning something new, need to be free to make mistakes so they can learn through trial and error in a safe, empowering and supportive environment. The process continues as kids apply the skill in drills and games until they acquire success.

Classes are in Riverside Park and St Catherine’s Park on 67th/68th street and 1st Ave.

Examples:
- A 6 year old learned how to box-out and applied it in games and won contests.
- An 11 year old memorized HOH "core values." On a math test he remembered to NEVER GIVE UP. He completely changed his attitude and aced the test.
- A 9 year old had trouble dribbling to his left and was put on the HOH weak-handed dribbling program. This made him the best player on his Yorkville team.
-An 8 year old girl learns how to protect the ball when dribbling and how to use ball fakes when shooting. Now defenders cannot steal the ball or block her.
-A 16 year old point guard, with a slight build, learned how to create contact from the defender and draw a foul.

Restrictions: Lesson is scheduled at a mutually convenience time between Coach and group.  Classes are in Riverside Park and St Catherine’s Park on 67th/68th street and 1st Ave.
