Stacia Helfand, MEd, RD, CDN, owner (and parent of a GUGMS 6 thgrader & graduate), is a registered dietitian and has been in practice for over 15 years. She is a full time lecturer at CUNY. Her services are targeted, but not limited to family nutrition, athletic performance, clinical needs (such as GI issues, cardiac wellness, allergies, weight management and fertility work) as well as pediatric and adolescent nutrition. Stacia uses a whole food approach to nutrition and wellness and takes into account food preferences, cooking skills, wellness behaviors, genetic influences, emotional support, lifestyles and relationships to meet wellness goals. She helps, educates, guides and establishes pathways to empowered eating.
