Item Description
Jim Lee, a world-renowned comic book artist, writer, editor and publisher, has created an exclusive triptych featuring three of DC Comics most loved characters. Together the pieces create a mural of the busts of Batman, Catwoman, and the Joker posed in front of the Gotham City Skyline. Each piece is pen, ink, and white out on 11" x 17" illustration board. Mr. Lee rarely does commission pieces, so don't miss your chance to own an original piece of pop culture lore!
Jim Lee is currently the Co-Publisher of DC Entertainment (DCE) alongside Dan DiDio. Known for his incredibly detailed and dynamic artistic style, Lee is one of the most revered and respected artists in American comics. He defined the look of Batman more than any other artist, recalling the past greats while bringing a fresh perspective on the character. A veritable legend in the industry, Lee has received numerous accolades and recognition for his work, including the Harvey Special Award for New Talent in 1990, the Inkpot Award in 1992, and the Wizard Fan Award in 1996, 2002 and 2003.
This listing is for the Joker piece only. You can find the other two drawings at Item #099 (Batman) and Item #100 (Catwoman).
