Item Description
There’s a kind of alchemy that happens every once in a while in New York City that holds a touch of magic: you step into a place and forget where you are. Stepping into Mary’s Fish Camp can have that effect: you are suddenly on vacation at a hidden away seaside fish joint where the cook just happens to know how to make shellfish bouillabaisse.
Mary Redding opened Mary’s Fish Camp in January of 2001 to give the West Village a taste of the atmosphere and fresh flavors of her Florida youth. Treating her ingredients with restraint and respect, Mary allows the natural flavors of the seafood to shine. Combining casual atmosphere with sophisticated food, Mary’s Fish Camp gives you the vacation you need to take, if only for a few hours.
Mary's Fish Camp is a perfect example of a small NYC restaurant catering to locals. Located on a quiet street in the West Village, Mary's is small restaurant with not a lot of seating, and they don't take reservations.
Winner will receive a $75 gift certificate for lunch for two at Mary's Fish Camp (http://www.marysfishcamp.com). Gift certificate expires March 28, 2019.
