That's where Galileo comes in.  Drawing from the innovation process developed by the Stanford d.school, we run an evolving series of imagination-sparking programs for kids from pre-K through 8th grade: Camp Galileo (pre-K - 5th graders), Galileo Summer Quest (5th - 8th graders), and The Tech Summer Camps (4th - 8th graders).

Over 40 locations.  Extended care from 8am-6pm.  Optional healthy lunch program provided by Choicelunch.

RISING PRE-K - 5TH GRADES: 
CAMP GALILEO
Four imagination-sparking themes—from adventures out on the African savanna and inside their own amusement parks to innovating on the move or alongside medieval monarchs—all engineered to inspire.

Grouped by grade and nurtured by our incredible staff, campers take on art, science and outdoor activities tailored to their level, and they learn lasting innovation skills like collaboration and reflection. As campers grow, our curriculum evolves to include more advanced concepts, complex projects and creative freedom.

After a week at camp, you’ll hear your kids use words like “trusses” and “visionary” without missing a beat. You’ll probably even hear why mistakes are marvelous things to make. All this engrossing learning is wrapped in four, fresh, weekly themes.

RISING 5TH - 8TH GRADES: 
GALILEO SUMMER QUEST
More than 14 immersive majors—including brand new offerings rife with puzzling escapes, YouTube-ready videos and inventive breakfast bites—that encourage them to think big.

Galileo Summer Quest is where kids ages 5th through 8th grades get to dive deep into something that inspires them.
Designed for burgeoning visionaries, Galileo Summer Quest empowers 5th – 8th graders to take the next step. Campers choose from 13+ immersive majors, picking something they already love or a new area they're excited to explore, then spend the week diving in.

Mentored by expert instructors and equipped with professional tools and materials, campers become YouTube producers, build catapults, whip up inventive dishes, design custom video games and much, much more. Each confidence-building, collaboration-packed week gives them an opportunity to realize their personal vision in a new inspiring subject.

Items and/or certificates must be picked up at The Waverly School Elementary Campus business office, 67 W Bellevue Drive, Pasadena CA 91105, from May 7 to June 6, 8:30am to 3:30pm. Shipping can be requested by the winner at an additional cost. The Waverly School and/or donors are not responsible for shipping fees.
