Spend a long weekend (3 nights/3-4 days) nestled in the spectacular fall foliage of New England.
This comfortable private cottage is on the grounds of a classic 1805 New England home tucked on 35 acres of woods and pasture in Cornish, New Hampshire.
Built as an artist's studio during the height of the Cornish Colony, the cottage is a perfect escape from New York. Part of the historic Connecticut river valley, Cornish is a small New England town that has long been known for its unspoiled beauty and creative citizens including Maxfield Parrish, J.D Salinger, and Augustus Saint Gaudens.
The cottage has one bedroom (Queen) as well as full-height sleeping loft (King) nestled above a two-story living room with wood burning fireplace and sun-flooded skylights. Comfortably sleeps 4 adults, or two adults with children.
A fully equipped kitchen and full bathroom with washer and dryer make this cozy space complete. A picturesque home base to visit the Cornish-Windsor bridge (the longest covered bridge in the country) or historic Windsor, VT (the birthplace of Vermont). 20 minutes away you’ll find Hanover, NH, home to Dartmouth College. There are plenty of activities for children and the family, including local apple picking orchards, or just exploring the breathtaking natural beauty that is autumn in New England.
