Have the amazing jazz duo of Dave Levitt and Sarah Cion Duo perform at your next event! As a duo, Sarah and Dave perform songs from the American Songbook as well as some jazz tunes. Dave is also a vocalist and will sing some songs each set. The winner of this auction would have the duo for a 60-90 minute cocktail party.
Dave Levitt comes from a family of musicians dating back generations. After finishing up his Masters at Manhattan School of Music Dave began to perform all over the world. With 5 European tours under his belt, he?s had the opportunity to experience the world and grow as a musician. Some notable artists he?s appeared with are Branford Marsalis, Clark Terry, Sister Sledge , Ike Turner, as well as many others. Dave is currently working as a professional trombonist and educator in NYC.
Sarah Cion studied at the New England Conservatory of Music. She is a winner of the Great American Jazz Piano Competition which was judged by the great jazz pianists Horace Silver, Kenny Barron, and others. Sarah led a group at the Blue Note in Japan for the whole month of January 2000. She?s also composed songs for film and television. Besides that Sarah has also toured many parts of the world and has appeared with Etta Jones, Carmen Leggio, Lyn Christie, and many others. She also is located in NYC and continues her work as a musician and educator.
