Item Description

Chris Camarda, the winemaker and founder of Andrew Will Wine is one of the top wine makers in Washington. The winery was started in 1989 out of a love for wine that Chris developed while working in the restaurant trade for almost 20 years. Named for son Will and nephew Andrew, the focus of the winery is vineyard designate blends using the Bordeaux varietals. The wines are named for the estates where the fruit is sourced.

Ciel du Cheval 2006 – From the Red Mountain AVA known for its tannic, age-worthy fruit, is purple-colored with a fragrant perfume of cedar, smoke, black currant and blackberry liqueur. This is followed by a medium to full-bodied wine with outstanding depth and grip, mouth coating flavors, and a lengthy finish. The well-concealed tannins suggest that it will evolve for 4-6 years and drink well through 2026. Wine Advocate

Champoux 2006 – The 2006 Champoux Vineyard, a source of some of Washington’s finest old-vine Cabernet Sauvignon (as well as the principal component of Quilceda Creek’s renowned Cabernet) is purple-colored with an impressive display of smoky black fruits, pencil lead, and earth notes. On the palate, it is intense, rich, and layered with the structure and balance for a decade of evolution. This powerful effort should drink well from 2015 to 2030. Wine Advocate

Sorella 2006 – The 2006 Sorella is produced from Block 1 of the Champoux Vineyard and is the winery's flagship. It is composed of 71% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, and 4% Petit Verdot. Saturated purple in color, the nose offers up an enticing mix of pain grille, pencil lead, espresso, incense, black currant, and blackberry. Already complex, this layered, fleshy, intensely flavored effort will benefit from another 4-6 years of cellaring and will have a drinking window extending from 2013 to 2026. Wine Advocate
