Item Description
Gloria Najecki
Tug
Acrylic on panel
4.5” x 4.25”
Professional animal portraitist, Gloria Najecki, has been drawing ever since she could hold a pen in her hand. And since the age of four – when she first sketched her family's scruffy pooch, Cindy – canines have been her very favorite subject.
For the past 20 years, Gloria has focused professionally on commissioned animal portraiture. Before putting brush to canvas, she first listens closely as her clients tenderly share stories of their beloved pets (many of whom have passed on). She then collaborates with them to create personal portraits that speak to the very heart of their precious human/animal bond. The results are, invariably, poignant and stunning.
