San Miguel de Allende is a beautiful colonial town in the ‘Heart of Mexico’ in the state of Guanajuato. It has cobblestone streets and hills which provides beautiful views of the many colorful houses and churches in town. Fabulous restaurants and plenty of children’s activities like horseback riding, climbing an ancient pyramid, and hot springs. The climate is high desert so nearly perfect all year round.
The house is perched on a hill for a panoramic view of San Miguel and its surroundings. Arched windows in the living and kitchen area open to a patio for dining al fresco. A large living/dining area has a fireplace to take off the morning and evening chills. Recently renovated with modern touches without losing the original Mexican style.
Upstairs you’ll find a master suite with bathroom and patio, a guest room, guest bath and studio with TV and a fireplace. One more flight brings you to the second master suite with a large arched window door leading to a private patio with views of the Parroquia. There is another larger rooftop patio for west facing sunset viewing and entertaining.
Conveniently located at the edge of Guadiana in Colonia Caracol. It is short walk to the Ancha de San Antonio and Cinco de Mayo with markets, cafes and restaurants. A 15 minute walk to Parque Juarez and a 25 minute walk to the Jardin. Large open living and dining area with fireplace
